On December 20, the Party Committee of China Energy Engineering Group issued a notice on naming the first batch of "Four New" demonstration Party branches. To recognize advanced units and set examples, and to further strengthen the system to build a high-quality development "Four New" energy construction battle fortress, the Party Committee decided to designate 22 Party branches as the first batch of "Four New" demonstration Party branches based on recommendations from affiliated enterprise Party committees. The Process Branch of the Chemical Institute successfully received recognition as one of the first batch of "Four New" demonstration Party branches.
Since being fully integrated into Hunan Institute in 2020, the Chemical Institute has become the only Class A design institute in the chemical and petrochemical industry under Hunan Institute. The Process Branch has 37 party members, with its departments such as Planning Consulting Institute, Chemical Medicine Institute, and Safety Evaluation Center being leading professional departments. The Process Branch adheres to China Energy's "Three New Party Building" model, deeply implements grassroots party building through a "Seven Grabs" project, leverages brand value empowerment, plays a leading role in planning and provides technical support for chemical projects, focuses on deep integration of "Energy + Chemistry", actively undertakes technical support for relevant hydrogen energy projects within the group, creates an integrated solution featuring green electricity hydrogen ammonia methanol unique to China Energy Engineering Group, and establishes a brand for hydrogen engineering technology.
The Chemical Institute will cherish this honor and continue to work hard to comprehensively strengthen grassroots foundations and basic skills. It will fully play its exemplary role and become a pioneer fortress for accelerating high-quality development, a stronghold for promoting "Four Major Transformations", a fortress for enhancing value creation efficiency, an image fortress showcasing "Four New" energy construction, and a solid fortress with robust foundational capabilities.
