Merged with China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. (China Energy Construction Hunan Institute) in April 2020 to become its subsidiary.
Joined Hunan Xiangkong Group Co., Ltd. at the end of 2017, which was restructured into Hunan Chemical Design Institute Co., Ltd. in the same year.
Completed the campus expansion and renovation project in 2014, including a new office building and staff housing.
In 2002, the Hunan Chemical Industry Design Institute and the Hunan Pharmaceutical Design Institute underwent asset restructuring and merged to form the Hunan Chemical and Pharmaceutical Design Institute.
In April 1993, obtained the Class A certificate for chemical, construction, and petrochemical engineering design issued by the Ministry of Construction (certificate number 1801021); Class B certificate for pharmaceutical, light industry, and municipal design (certificate number 1801022); Class B certificate for engineering geology and engineering surveying (certificate number 1801027); Class A qualification certificate for general contracting (certificate number Jian Cheng Jia Zi 1802).
In June 1970, the Design Institute of the Hunan Provincial Department of Light Industry and Chemical Industry was divided into the Hunan Chemical Industry Design Institute and the Hunan Provincial Light Industry Design Institute. Our institute is located at No. 11 Yuhua Road, Changsha City.
