Hunan Chemical Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Hunan Chemical and Pharmaceutical Design Institute) serves as a provincial-level design institute for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, and has been recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise, Hunan Joint Postgraduate Training Base Based on Industry-Education Integration, an oil & gas consulting agency and decision-making think tank in Hunan Province (Hunan Oil & Gas Development Research Institute), and an integrated technical consulting agency for planning, consulting, evaluation and diagnosis regarding chemical industry parks. We have three technological innovation platforms, including the “Provincial Enterprise Technology Center” under the Industry and Information Technology Department of Hunan Province, the “Municipal Technological Innovation Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage Materials” under the Changsha Science and Technology Bureau, and the “Municipal Enterprise Technology Center” under the Changsha Development and Reform Commission. With over six decades of professional, dedicated, and innovative service in chemical engineering, petrochemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, construction, and municipal engineering, we have developed strong, enduring technical expertise and a complete suite of professional capabilities. Drawing on a wealth of experience and industry-leading proprietary “specialized and sophisticated” chemical process technologies, we continue to enhance our R&D efforts, iterating and upgrading our process technology routes and solutions. Through our postgraduate joint training base, we focus on strengthening our provincial technical expert teams and expanding our technical cooperation with prominent universities and research institutions.
Our team comprises a large number of high-caliber professionals in technology and management, led by professor-level senior engineers, Ph.D. and master’s degree holders. We have 93 senior engineers with professor-level titles, 78 doctoral and master’s graduates, and 150 registered engineers across various fields, forming a well-structured technical team that includes “survey and design masters, industry leaders, technical backbones (certified engineers), and emerging talent (graduate students)”. In recent years, many highly educated professionals have joined our team, laying a strong foundation for sustainable growth. Moreover, our team members involve more than 180 positions of group leaders and senior experts of various expert pools at the provincial, ministerial, municipal and industry levels, and include 50 experts commissioned by the Development and Reform Commission of Hunan Province to evaluate construction projects, 14 experts on provincial-level emergency management, 2 experts on provincial-level carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the industrial field (chemical industry), 13 experts from the survey and design industry of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Hunan Province, 8 experts handling disputed construction drawing review issues of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department and the Civil Air Defence Office of Hunan Province, 30 assessment and consulting experts from Changsha Development and Reform Commission, 21 experts from the Changsha Emergency Management Expert Pool, 21 experts from the Changsha Survey and Design Management Expert Pool, as well as many experts from the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province, Hunan Energy Administration (oil & gas), Hunan Fire and Rescue (chemical industry), and the Provincial Technical Expert Pools for Engineering Assessment and Bids Evaluation. We provide a full range of integrated technical services such as planning, consulting, review, design, inherent process safety diagnosis for industrial parks and enterprises, safety evaluation, HAZOP analysis, and project acceptance, for relevant government departments, chemical (pharmaceutical) industrial parks, and relevant investors in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, construction, municipal and other fields.
