Recently, China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "CPECC") officially released its 2025 annual plan for approved science and technology projects. Among them, the Chemical Engineering Institute, in collaboration with China Energy Engineering Hunan Institute, has been selected to lead one major science and technology special project and participate in two others. These projects cover key research areas and cutting-edge industry fields, including critical technologies for low-temperature, low-pressure green ammonia synthesis based on "three flexible couplings" in off-grid scenarios, as well as a 100-ton-scale CO2 hydrogenation technology for producing olefins and aviation fuel.

Recently, the Institute of Chemical Engineering followed up its successful EPC implementation of the multiphase flow environment structural materials testing facility for Beijing University of Science and Technology's "National Center for Materials Service Safety Science" by securing a new contract with CNOOC Energy Development Co., Ltd. (referred to as "CNOOC Development") for the detailed design of a pilot-scale experimental platform dedicated to multiphase fluid engineering. This achievement further solidifies the institute's technological leadership in areas such as multiphase fluid engineering pilot platforms and its chemical-biopharmaceutical pilot-scale facilities.

To stay abreast of the latest industry trends and developments, and to draw on cutting-edge concepts and technological advancements, the Architecture Division organized an internal briefing session on November 6 titled "The 50th Session of the Ten Thousand Chief Architect Training Program and the 2025 Training Workshop for Chief Architects from Class-A Architectural Design Firms." The meeting was chaired by Xiao Feng, with attendance from Li Zhenhua, Director of the Architecture Division; Tang Jian, Deputy Director; and all members of the Architecture Team.

To accelerate the construction and development of the West Green Chemical Zone in Xiangxiang Economic Development Zone, Xiangxiang City, and to establish it as a new economic growth hub for the city, Zeng Qiaohong, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Institute of Chemical Engineering, Director of the Chemical Planning Research Institute, and Provincial Emergency Management Expert on Hazardous Chemicals, was invited by Xiangxiang City on November 5 to deliver a special training session titled "Safety Improvement and Enhancement of Chemical Industrial Parks."
