To thoroughly implement the "Guiding Opinions on Implementing the 'Healthy CGN' Initiative," enrich employee cultural and sports activities, and strengthen corporate cohesion and team spirit, the 16th Annual Employee Badminton Tournament for 2025 was successfully held from October 24 to 25 at the Changsha Mechanical Sports Center. The event was hosted by the Hunan Institute Union of China Energy Engineering Group and organized by the Chemical Engineering Institute Union. Leiyuanhua, General Manager of the Hunan Institute, along with Deputy General Managers Luo Zhidi and Peng Songxiao, attended the event and presented awards to the winning teams and individual categories. Notably, the Chemical Engineering Institute proudly secured the third-place team title in the 2025 China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Institute Employee Badminton Competition.

Recently, the Institute of Chemical Engineering signed engineering design contracts for two major overseas investment projects: the 135,000-ton-per-year caustic soda project of Laos Hengguang Sodium-Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd., and the 40,000-ton-per-year sodium chlorate and 10,000-ton-per-year potassium chlorate projects of Hengrun Chemical Wholly-Owned Co., Ltd. These deals underscore the institute's strong technical expertise and renowned brand reputation in the specialized caustic soda sector—including sodium chlorate and potassium chlorate applications.

On September 18, Luo Zhiqiang, Deputy General Manager of China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Institute, and his delegation visited the Huangjiaogou and Chishui wastewater treatment EPC project sites to carry out safety production supervision under the "Thunder Action" initiative, as well as hold a related meeting. Attendees included heads from the Chemical Engineering Institute, the Safety, Quality, and Environmental Protection Department, and the Production & Project Management Department, along with project managers, technical personnel responsible for commissioning and operation at Xiangneng Jing, and management staff from Hunan Kaidi.

To thoroughly implement the overall deployment of the parent group regarding the organization of the 2025 "National Defense Education Month" activities and to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, on September 18, China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Institute organized a film-viewing event themed "Remember History, Courageously Move Forward." The event aimed to guide employees at all levels to deeply understand history, cherish peace, and further strengthen their awareness of national security and defense consciousness. Through reflecting on history via film, participants were inspired to move forward with determination. In response, the Chemical Engineering Institute actively participated by organizing two sessions of the educational activity, inviting employees from various branches to join.
