On November 25, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology organized an expert review meeting for the "Hunan Province Modern Petrochemical Industry Development Report 2024" and the "Hunan Province Petrochemical Industry Development Plan for the 15th Five-Year Period." The meeting was chaired by Jiang Ningfei, Director of the Petrochemical Industry Division of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. Attendees included experts and professors from the department's Petrochemical Industry Division, as well as representatives from the Chemical Industry Institute, such as Lin Zhiyong, Party Secretary and General Manager; Zeng Qiaohong, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Chemical Planning Research Institute; Zeng Lingjun, Assistant to the General Manager; and members of the research team responsible for drafting these documents.

The report comprehensively summarizes the achievements of industry growth while accurately assessing the opportunities and challenges ahead, laying a solid data foundation for high-quality development in the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Meanwhile, the "Hunan Province Petrochemical Industry '15th Five-Year' Development Plan" is grounded in the new stage of development, clearly defining the strategic priorities and spatial layout for the industry’s growth over the next five years. Meanwhile, the "Hunan Province Petrochemical Industry '15th Five-Year' Development Plan" accurately captures the industry’s evolving trends, setting development goals that not only align with our province’s actual conditions but also reflect a strategic vision—perfectly dovetailing with the province’s "Three Highs and Four New" strategic positioning and closely integrating with the requirements of building the province’s "4×4" modern industrial system. This plan demonstrates strong guiding principles and practical feasibility. Director Jiang Ningfei, representing the Petrochemical Division of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, fully endorsed the report’s achievements, highlighting its meticulous data, insightful analysis, and clear rationale, which collectively hold significant value in driving high-quality development of the province’s petrochemical industry.
