Early winter brings a gentle chill, yet the lingering warmth of autumn remains. To further strengthen team cohesion, ignite workplace enthusiasm, and build momentum for the year-end sprint, on November 22nd, the Fifth Trade Union Branch of the Institute of Chemical Engineering (comprising the Public Equipment Institute and the Survey Institute) organized a team-building activity in Changsha County, themed "Tracing Red Footsteps, Embracing Autumn’s Lakeside Charm." More than 30 union members, along with their family representatives, participated in the event.
The journey began with a visit to Wumei Town, where everyone, filled with reverence, toured the former residence of Comrade Xu Teli, a proletarian revolutionary and educator, reflecting on our original aspirations and mission as we listened to the inspiring stories of this pioneering figure.

Following that, the group strolled along the popular "Ten-Mile Metasequoia Road," where golden metasequoia leaves mingled with the warm winter sunlight, creating a poetic masterpiece. Everyone paused to capture the moment, cherishing these beautiful memories. Finally, they visited the exhibition showcasing Comrade Xiong Jinran’s life story, immersing themselves in the inspiring red culture surrounded by serene lake views and picturesque mountains.

At noon, the team moved to Zizai Teashop by Yingshan Lake in Jiangbei Town to enjoy a farm-style Chinese lunch. The authentic and delicious dishes provided everyone with plenty of energy for the afternoon activities. In the afternoon, participants freely chose activities based on their interests—whether it was taking a leisurely stroll around the lake, exploring Tianxi Palace, or diving into relaxing farmhouse-themed programs like tea-making by the hearth, playing cards and board games, or singing karaoke outdoors. Amidst laughter and cheerful chatter, the day beautifully showcased the close camaraderie and seamless teamwork among colleagues.

As evening fell, the team headed to Xihu Tower for an exquisite dinner, beautifully concluding a fulfilling day. After the meal, everyone boarded the bus together and safely returned, bringing their trip to a smooth close. This team-building activity not only allowed employees to unwind and recharge after intense work but also gave them a chance to appreciate the beauty of nature and culture. More importantly, the group activities fostered deeper connections among team members, strengthening their spirit of collaboration. Everyone expressed their determination to approach their upcoming tasks with renewed enthusiasm and unwavering motivation, fully committed to achieving the year’s key objectives.
