On May 8, Peng Guoxiang, Director of the Tongguan Chemical Industrial Park Office of the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, led a delegation that included Li Gang, General Manager of Hunan Meiya Rui New Materials Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Wang Yahui, Head of the Engineering Department at Zhuzhou Shidai Huaxin New Materials Co., Ltd., along with other relevant officials, to visit the Institute of Chemical Industry. The delegation held discussions and coordinated efforts on the progress of key projects slated for entry into the park in the near term. Lin Zhiyong, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Institute, Yuan Zhuqin, Assistant to the General Manager, as well as heads of relevant departments and project leaders, attended the meeting.

To carry forward the spirit of the May Fourth Movement, cultivate a deep sense of patriotism and national commitment among young people, and guide League members and youth to strengthen their convictions through red education and hone their skills in industrial practice, on April 24 the Youth League branch of the School of Chemical Engineering organized all League members and employees under the age of 30 to visit Zhuzhou for a May Fourth-themed Youth League Day activity titled “Nurturing Original Aspirations with Red Heritage, Forging Youth Through Industrial Practice.” The event enabled participants to trace the footsteps of revolutionary history, reflect on the transformation of industry, and appreciate the allure of science and technology, thereby harnessing on-site study and field research to rally youthful energy and drive forward.

On April 7, Zeng Hualin, Deputy General Manager of China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Institute, led a delegation that included Zhou Xinggang, Deputy General Manager of the Chemical Engineering Institute; Zeng Qiaohong, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Chemical Planning Research Institute; and Zeng Lingjun, Assistant to the General Manager and Deputy Director of the Chemical Planning Research Institute, to Lengshuijiang City to conduct a special research study on the planning and construction of a chemical industry park. The meeting was attended by Mao Donghong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Lengshuijiang Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, as well as relevant officials from the Lengshuijiang Economic Development Zone, the Municipal Science and Technology and Industry Bureau, the Municipal Natural Resources Bureau, the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, the Ecological Environment Sub-bureau, and Antimony Capital Development Co., Ltd.
