Recently, the Institute of Chemical Engineering has aligned itself with its strategic objectives, strengthening its focus on specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative capabilities as well as technological innovation. By continuously deepening its expertise in core technology areas, the institute has successively secured a series of design contracts, including the Fujian Zijinlong Chemical Flotation and Metallurgical Reagent Project, the Pujie Fragrance (Hunan) Tongguan Project, and the Shuangliu Industrial Park Wastewater Treatment Project in Kaiyang County.

On August 11, Zuo Lie, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yuhua District CPC Committee and Deputy District Mayor, led a delegation—including Liu Licheng, a Second-Level Researcher; Jiang Fushan, Director of the District Science and Technology Bureau; and Wang Lei, Deputy Director of Houjiatang Subdistrict—to visit the Institute of Chemical Engineering for a working inspection. Lin Zhiyong, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Institute, Zhou Nannan, Chief Engineer and Deputy General Manager, along with heads of relevant departments, attended the meeting.

Recently, the 300,000‑ton‑per‑year refined phosphoric acid project of Hubei Ningbo New Materials Co., Ltd., invested by Hubei Sanning Chemical Co., Ltd. and led by the Institute of Chemical Engineering as the general designer, successfully passed the expert review at the safety facilities design special‑topic appraisal meeting convened by the Yichang Municipal Emergency Management Bureau in Hubei Province, marking a critical milestone in the project’s preliminary design phase.

On July 24, Cai Rui, Executive General Manager of the Institute of Chemical Engineering, led a delegation to Guangxi Hualai New Materials Co., Ltd. for a working exchange. The two sides discussed cooperation on the 4,000‑ton‑per‑year nitrogen‑atomization aluminum and aluminum alloy powder project, as well as on follow-up projects. Relevant personnel from Hualai’s Project Management Department, Infrastructure Department, and Science & Information Department attended the meeting, which was chaired by Xie Lunshou, Deputy General Manager of Hualai.
