At the exchange meeting, the leaders of the Xiangxiang Economic Development Zone extended a warm welcome to the team from the Chemical Engineering Institute, briefly introduced the basic situation of the West City Green Chemical Industry Zone's industrial development and infrastructure construction, and expressed gratitude for the technical support provided by the Chemical Engineering Institute to the development of the West City Green Chemical Industry Zone.
The meeting reviewed the cooperation between the two parties in areas such as chemical park identification and expansion, and in-depth analysis of the geographical conditions, industrial foundation, and talent advantages Xiangxiang possesses for developing the green chemical industry. The industrial development assessment report of the West City Green Chemical Industry Zone was analyzed and discussed from aspects such as research ideas, work progress, and compilation logic.
Lin Zhiyong expressed gratitude for the trust and support provided by the Xiangxiang Economic Development Zone, stating that the Chemical Engineering Institute will fully leverage its professional advantages and talent and technology advantages in the chemical industry to provide comprehensive technical services to the West City Green Chemical Industry Zone in areas such as overall scientific planning, industrial policy consultation, and project access, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the West City Green Chemical Industry Zone.
In his concluding remarks, Wan Qian offered guiding suggestions on the improvement and refinement of the industrial development assessment report and the direction of future work from six dimensions: planning guidance, policy support, project layout, tool application, mechanism innovation, and model development. He expressed hope that the Chemical Engineering Institute would leverage its technological advantages to provide strategic advice for the high-quality development of the chemical industry zone and assist the park in carrying out top-level planning and design.
