On March 29, a special symposium on Hunan Province's 14th Five-Year Plan for the modern petrochemical industry was held in Changsha. The meeting was presided over by Wang Yiou, Vice Governor of Hunan Provincial People's Government, Director of the Provincial Public Security Department, and Chief of the Provincial Modern Petrochemical Industry Chain. Industry experts including academicians Gan Yong and Qian Feng from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Sun Weishan, Vice President of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, gathered in Changsha to guide the high-quality development of Hunan's modern petrochemical industry. On March 30, a symposium of the Hunan Provincial Petrochemical Industry Association and its key enterprises was held in the first meeting room on the 22nd floor of Dongtang Building. Sun Weishan, Vice President of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation; Tang Shengxiu, Deputy Director of the Quality, Safety and Environmental Protection Department; Bu Xinping, Secretary-General of the Petrochemical New Materials Special Committee; Meng Jianhua, Second-level Inspector of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Xiao Hui, Second-level Research Fellow of the Raw Materials Industry Department of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Tang Xiaobo, person in charge of the Materials Industry Department of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology; and heads of key enterprises in the provincial petrochemical industry, totaling more than 20 people, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by You Jianfei, Secretary-General of the Provincial Petrochemical Industry Association.
