To deepen the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and to encourage young employees to strive for excellence in the crucial year of completing the 14th Five-Year Plan and preparing for the 15th Five-Year Plan, on April 18, 2025, on the eve of the May 4th Youth Day, the Youth League Committee of the Chemical Engineering Institute organized a youth study and research activity themed "Me and Us Youth University Learning". Deputy General Manager Yang Fangwen and Assistant General Manager Yuan Zhuqin provided guidance throughout the event. Secretary of the Youth League Committee Li Zhenhua led more than 40 young employees under the age of 30 to visit Ren Bishi's former residence, Yueyang Tower, and two chemical enterprises in Yueyang for study and learning. On April 17, Hunan Institute of Energy Construction (HIEC) and Jinsha County held a project promotion symposium. The meeting focused on the progress and future development plans of HIEC's investment projects in Jinsha County, aiming to deepen government-enterprise cooperation. Recently, in order to continuously improve the engineering design level and the effectiveness of compliance with laws, regulations and standards of the Chemical Engineering Institute, the "Effective Version Control List of Laws, Regulations and Technical Standards" for 2025 of the Chemical Engineering Institute has been repeatedly checked and revised by various professionals and approved for implementation by Zhou Niannan, the chief engineer and vice general manager.

Recently, the Hunan Provincial Association of Surveying and Design announced the list of award-winning projects for the 2024 Hunan Provincial Excellent Engineering Surveying and Design Achievements. Two of the Chemical Engineering Institute's design projects won second and third prizes for excellent industrial engineering projects. This is the result of the Chemical Engineering Institute's commitment to high-quality development through professionalism, focus, meticulousness, and sincerity, demonstrating the Institute's strong technical capabilities in engineering design.
