To stay abreast of the latest industry trends and developments, and to draw inspiration from cutting-edge concepts and technological advancements, the Architecture Institute organized an internal briefing session on November 6 titled "The 50th Session of the Ten Thousand Chief Architects Training Program and the 2025 Training Workshop for Chief Architects from Class-A Architectural Design Firms." The meeting was chaired by Xiao Feng, with attendance from Li Zhenhua, Director of the Architecture Institute, Deputy Director Tang Jian, and all members of the Architecture Team.
This briefing session focused on the course content from the 2025 Training Workshop for Chief Architects of Class-A Architectural Design Firms, which brought together over 200 chief architects from across the country. Our institute places great importance on this learning opportunity and will systematically disseminate the knowledge gained internally, ensuring that cutting-edge insights are effectively shared and applied within the organization.
The implementation and promotion meeting highlighted the three core components of the chief architect training program:
I. Policy Guidance and Development Direction: The meeting interpreted the spirit of the Central Urban Work Conference, clearly outlining the current status and future direction of the construction industry in the new era.
II. Cutting-Edge Technologies and Innovative Practices: 1. Digitalization and Intelligent Solutions: This includes the "Full-Chain Collaborative" urban design concept, BIM-based forward design, and AI-assisted decision-making technologies, showcasing the immense potential of data-driven design. 2. Green and Low-Carbon Development: Key elements here encompass an updated approach that balances "cultural heritage preservation with functional regeneration," as well as a proactive architectural "Good House" design system—providing practical guidance for the development of zero-carbon smart projects. 3. Model Innovation and International Expansion: We explore architect-led project delivery models and the international standardization of practices, offering fresh insights to drive business innovation and support global market expansion.
III. Case Studies and Value Enhancement: Through exemplary cases such as historic building preservation and the repurposing of industrial sites, we highlight the significant role design plays in reshaping value and leveraging technology to elevate it further.
This briefing session featured rich and detailed content, effectively broadening employees' perspectives and inspiring innovative thinking. The Architecture Institute will strengthen the learning and application of cutting-edge industry knowledge, fostering deeper integration of new ideas, advanced technologies, and real-world projects. By doing so, we will continuously enhance our design quality and core competitiveness, injecting fresh momentum into our institute's high-quality development.
