The Tongguan Chemical Industrial Park of the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone and its resident enterprises paid a visit to the Institute of Chemical Engineering to conduct working exchanges.
On May 8, Peng Guoxiang, Director of the Tongguan Chemical Industrial Park Office of the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, led a delegation that included Li Gang, General Manager of Hunan Meiyarui New Materials Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Wang Yahui, Head of the Engineering Department at Zhuzhou Shidai Huaxin New Materials Co., Ltd., along with other relevant officials, to visit the Institute of Chemical Engineering. The group exchanged views and coordinated progress on key projects slated for entry into the park in the near term. Lin Zhiyong, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Institute, Yuan Zhuqin, Assistant to the General Manager, and representatives from relevant departments and project leaders attended the meeting.

The meeting featured thorough exchanges and discussions on the preliminary progress of the Hunan Meiya Rui New Materials Project, the Shidai Huaxin Tongguan Project, and the Tongguan Pilot-Scale Base Project, as well as on the plans for the next phase of work.
Peng Guoxiang expressed his gratitude to the College of Chemical Engineering for its longstanding professional technical support in the development and construction of the Tongguan Chemical Industrial Park within the Wangcheng Economic Development Zone, as well as related projects. He emphasized that the meeting focused on the principles of “efficiency and high quality,” putting forward three key recommendations: first, align thinking and forge concerted efforts; second, firmly uphold project timelines and clearly define project priorities; and third, prioritize the creation of high‑quality design outcomes while ensuring the steady and orderly advancement of all projects.
Lin Zhiyong, on behalf of the Chemical Engineering Institute, extended a warm welcome to the park management and the heads of various enterprises. He emphasized that all project teams must complete their design tasks on schedule, with both quality and quantity assured, while accelerating the overall progress. He underscored that the Institute has always regarded process quality as the cornerstone of corporate development, adhering to the principles of “safety‑first design as the top priority, green design as the core philosophy, innovative design as the key competitive edge, and intelligent design as the direction of future development.” By elevating its technical standards and service quality, the Institute aims to deliver results that fully satisfy the park and its clients.
