To deepen the implementation of the 2026 “Quality Enhancement Year” initiative, strengthen end-to-end, all‑element quality control, and comprehensively advance the standardization, refinement, and intelligentization of quality management, the Chemical Engineering Institute organized a company‑wide training session on quality compliance and the fourth hands‑on workshop on “Design Management Software” on the afternoon of June 30. A total of 150 participants from the various survey and design branches, as well as from functional departments including the General Contracting Management Department, the Business Planning Department, the Science, Technology, Quality and Information Department, and the Comprehensive Management Department, attended the training. Lin Zhiyong, Party Secretary and General Manager, attended and delivered an opening address, while Chief Engineer and Deputy General Manager Zhou Nannan, Deputy General Manager Yang Fangwen, and Assistant to the General Manager Yuan Zhuqin were present to provide guidance.
At the opening ceremony, Lin Zhiyong, drawing on industry trends and the company’s operational realities, underscored the pivotal role of design quality in ensuring the enterprise’s survival and growth, as well as in building its brand. He emphasized that quality is the cornerstone of the design institute’s existence and the foundation of its development, urging all employees to firmly embrace the principle of “quality first, striving for excellence,” rigorously adhere to design standards, tightly manage process risks, and meticulously control deliverable quality—thereby safeguarding the company’s high‑quality, sustainable development through stringent quality management.

The training was delivered by Li Yong, Chief Engineer of the Science, Technology, Quality, and Information Department, who provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s 2026 “Quality Enhancement Year” action plan and its specific task requirements. He thoroughly communicated the annual quality‑improvement objectives, key initiatives, implementation details, and the assessment and evaluation framework. In addition, he offered a line‑by‑line explanation of the newly issued quality‑management documents and the newly added functional modules of the “Design Management Software,” clearly defining the work standards and responsibilities for each role throughout the entire project lifecycle—ranging from project initiation and design planning to design inputs, organizational execution, design verification, and the submission, archiving, and publication of drawings. This effort further strengthened quality awareness across the organization, standardized operational procedures, and reinforced the quality‑management accountability of all departments and positions.
To ensure the effective implementation of digital quality management, this training session specially invited Xie Xiaokai, an HVAC reviewer at the Public Facilities Institute and an outstanding software specialist, to deliver hands-on instruction on “Design Management Software.” The training systematically demonstrated practical applications aligned with the requirements of the 2026 “Quality Enhancement Year” initiative—covering tasks such as submitting professional data via the platform, conducting design reviews, and performing quality assessments. It also addressed common issues, operational challenges, and error-prone steps encountered in daily workflows, providing clear guidance and troubleshooting. As a result, participants’ software‑handling skills were significantly enhanced, contributing to improved intelligent quality control in design processes.
This company-wide quality and compliance training was comprehensive and highly targeted, covering key topics such as annual special initiatives, the quality management system, and hands-on software applications. Participants gained a clearer understanding of the new standards, requirements, and approaches to quality management under the current business environment. Moving forward, the Chemical Research Institute will leverage the 2026 “Quality Enhancement Year” campaign to further strengthen its quality management framework, promote the deep integration of quality management with intelligent digital technologies, and comprehensively elevate design quality, service quality, and management capabilities, thereby establishing a robust quality foundation for the company’s steady growth.
