On January 12, Yang Yaobin, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone in Guizhou, led a delegation—including representatives from relevant departments of the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone, Guizhou Phospho-Chemical Zhonghe Materials Co., Ltd., and Guizhou Zhonghe Phospho-Chemical Materials Co., Ltd.—to visit the Institute of Chemical Engineering for a working exchange. Cai Rui, on behalf of the Institute of Chemical Engineering, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone and briefly introduced the institute’s development journey, scope of business, and technological strengths. Zeng Qiaohong, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Institute of Chemical Planning, highlighted the institute’s technical service capabilities and successful case studies in areas such as overall planning of chemical parks, safety and environmental protection, and smart park development. Both sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on topics including the planning and construction of chemical parks, technical services, and industrial cooperation, and exchanged views on specific issues such as the positioning of the chemical industry in the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone, supporting infrastructure, enhancement of environmental protection and safety measures, and project implementation support. The representatives from the Kaiyang Economic Development Zone expressed their recognition of the institute’s professional expertise and expressed their hope to leverage its technological advantages to provide strong support for the high-quality development of the development zone.
Lin Zhiyong stated that the Institute of Chemical Engineering will continue to leverage its comprehensive technological strengths in fields such as chemical engineering, municipal infrastructure, and environmental protection, proactively providing Kaiyang Economic Development Zone and its resident enterprises with comprehensive, high-level consulting services and engineering solutions, thereby supporting the region’s industrial upgrading and green development.
