May 26, the Chemical Engineering Institute undertook the design of The preliminary design and budget review meeting for the 15,000-ton annual output of mining chemicals construction project of China Minmetals Changsha Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute (Hunan) Co., Ltd. was successfully held in Changsha. Yuan Zhuqin, Assistant General Manager and Dean of Municipal Engineering Institute, Zhong Yanming, Dean of Public Utilities Institute, Qi Mingrui, Project Manager, and project team members attended the review meeting.
This project is located in the chemical industry park of Jinshi High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Hunan Province. The investor is China Minmetals Changsha Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute. The total land area of the project is approximately 137 mu. The product scale includes CYP series fatty acid agents, CY series fatty acid agents, CYW series hydroxamic acid agents, CYZ series modifier agents, CY series collector agents, and CYC series sulfide ore agents, totaling an annual output of 15,000 tons, as well as by-products sodium sulfate and methanol.
At this review meeting, Relevant responsible persons from Changsha Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute introduced the development history of Changsha Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute and the construction background of this project. Project Manager Qi Mingrui reported the basic situation of the project's preliminary design to the attending experts and leaders. The attending experts put forward professional and detailed review opinions and conducted sufficient communication and exchanges with the design personnel of various specialties. This preliminary design review marks the achievement of phased progress in the project design work, and also indicates that Changsha Mining and Metallurgy Research Institute is about to make a major breakthrough in the field of mineral selection agent production, laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction drawings design and project construction.
As a provincial-level chemical engineering design institute, a provincial specialized and new enterprise, and a provincial production-education integration postgraduate joint training base, the Chemical Engineering Institute has strong and long-standing technical strength and technical background. Its relevant technologies have distinct and obvious specialized and new characteristics and advantages, possessing three technological innovation platforms: the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology's "Provincial Enterprise Technology Center," Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Bureau's "Municipal Electrochemical Energy Storage Material Technology Innovation Center," and Changsha Municipal Development and Reform Commission's "Municipal Enterprise Technology Center." It has accumulated rich engineering experience in the reliability, applicability, and safety of process flows, as well as in the rationality, advancement, and different technological routes of technologies.
