       On September 3, the special working group for the modern petrochemical industry chain in Yueyang City visited the Chemical Institute for work exchanges. The team was led by Liu Yong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Yueyang Municipal Committee, and included Fan Xiaoyi, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Xu Kejun, Deputy Director of the Yueyang Economic Development Zone Management Committee, Xu Lihua, Deputy Director of the Yueyang Green Chemical High-tech Zone Management Committee, and relevant leaders from the Linxiang High-tech Zone. Xiao Hui, Deputy Director of the Raw Materials Department of the Provincial Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting to provide guidance. Lin Zhiyong, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Chemical Institute, Executive General Manager Cai Rui, Chief Engineer and Deputy General Manager Zhou Nianan, Deputy General Manager Zhou Xingang, and relevant department heads participated in the exchange.       Liu Yong briefly introduced the overall situation of modern petrochemical industry development in Yueyang City, the planning and layout of various chemical parks in the development of the modern petrochemical industry, and the efforts of Yueyang City to build "three high grounds" for the petrochemical industry in the central region (the high ground for technological innovation in new chemical materials, the high ground for warehousing and logistics of chemicals and new materials, and the high ground for petrochemical industry projects). He expressed gratitude for the technical support and assistance provided by the Chemical Institute over the years in the development of the modern petrochemical industry in Yueyang City, park planning, policy consulting, and engineering design for related enterprises in the park, and expressed a strong willingness to establish a strategic partnership with the Chemical Institute.
       Lin Zhiyong thanked the Yueyang Municipal Committee and Municipal Government for their support to the Chemical Institute over the years, and expressed appreciation for the trust given by the Yueyang Green Chemical High-tech Zone, Yueyang Economic Development Zone, and Linxiang High-tech Zone. He praised and admired the achievements made in the development of the modern petrochemical industry in Yueyang City in recent years. He briefly introduced the development of the Chemical Institute as a government think tank for the chemical industry in recent years, the work done in planning consulting, technological innovation, engineering design, and the technical characteristics, advantages, and engineering achievements in the chemical industry and parks, especially in the petrochemical industry in Yueyang. He stated that the Chemical Institute will continue to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and multi-level technical support and quality services for relevant parks and enterprises in Yueyang City to achieve high-quality development for both parties.
       Zhou Nianan introduced the research work and technological innovations carried out by the Chemical Institute in recent years, particularly highlighting the research progress in the integrated production of green hydrogen and ammonia. He suggested that Yueyang City make good use of the rich chemical professional talent resources within the province, strengthen research cooperation with provincial universities, and provide a continuous reserve of research results for the development of the modern petrochemical industry in Yueyang.
       Xiao Hui fully affirmed the previous cooperation results between the two parties. As the leading base for the development of the modern petrochemical industry in our province, Yueyang has a solid industrial foundation and promising future development. The Chemical Institute, as the technical support unit for the modern petrochemical industry in our province, expressed strong support for this work exchange and future cooperation, hoping that the Chemical Institute will continue to leverage its industry advantages, technical advantages, and local advantages to provide solid technical support for the high-quality development of the modern petrochemical industry in Yueyang City and the entire province.       As a provincial-level chemical and pharmaceutical design institute, the Chemical Institute has various innovation platforms such as the "Provincial Enterprise Technology Center" from the Provincial Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, provincial specialized and innovative enterprises, the "Graduate Joint Training Base" from the Provincial Department of Education, the "Integrated Technology Platform for Hydrogen Energy Industry in Emerging Energy Fields" from the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the "Municipal Electrochemical Energy Storage Materials Technology Innovation Center" from the Changsha Science and Technology Bureau, and the "Municipal Enterprise Technology Center" from the Changsha Development and Reform Commission. It also serves as a consulting agency and decision-making think tank for petroleum and natural gas in Hunan Province (Hunan Petroleum and Natural Gas Development Research Institute), providing comprehensive technical consulting services for various planning, consulting, evaluation, and diagnosis in chemical parks. The technical consulting services for the modern petrochemical industry and chemical parks are highly advantageous and distinctive "technical brands," being very familiar with national and industry standards and regulations related to chemical parks. The institute has provided comprehensive technical consulting services for multiple chemical parks both within and outside the province, established strategic cooperative relationships with several chemical parks in the province, and compiled a large number of overall park plans, industrial plans, safety development plans, detailed control plans, restricted and controlled directories, and "one park, one policy" plans, among others, conducting project evaluation and review, design verification, safety diagnosis, thematic discussions on park development, and expert services.
