On January 24, the Chemical Institute held a grand 2025 work meeting and 2024 annual summary and commendation conference in the large conference hall on the 22nd floor of the Dongtang Building, China Energy Construction. Company leaders, department heads, and all employees attended the meeting, which was presided over by Chief Engineer and Deputy General Manager, Union Chairman Zhou Niannan.
The meeting first conveyed the spirit of the 2025 work meeting and the first session of the 10th employee representative assembly of China Energy Construction Hunan Institute.We must seize opportunities, highlight key points, grasp the essentials, focus on value creation, resolutely implement the '30 actionable items', effectively achieve the 'six practical results', comprehensively revolve around the themes of high-quality development and deepening reform, focus on breaking through bottlenecks, rigorously promote 'three precision management', and deeply advance the 'second revolution' in enterprise management to comprehensively enhance the core competitiveness of the system.
General Manager Cai Rui delivered a work report titled 'Upholding Integrity and Innovation, Steadily Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Chemical Institute to New Heights'.The report pointed out that in 2024, the Chemical Institute will adhere to planning guidance, technological innovation, and the export of mature processes, strengthen technical support for relevant government departments and chemical parks, maintain a stable and improving business situation, expand both domestic and international markets simultaneously, achieve new historical highs in production and operation, continue to maintain high-quality development, and solidify the strategic development foundation of Hunan Institute's 'Energy + Chemical' dual main business. Looking ahead to 2025, the Chemical Institute will, under the leadership of China Energy Construction, China Electric Engineering, and the Hunan Institute Party Committee, use technological innovation as a means, export traditional mature processes, pursue a path of specialized and refined development, differentiate development, highlight niche areas to amplify demonstration effects, strengthen design consulting while expanding and enhancing general contracting business, drive project investment and development through technology, anchor strategic goals, seize development opportunities, and enhance core capabilities. Relevant key work measures proposed include:First, break down ideological barriers and shatter the development ceiling; second, highlight industry planning consulting to build a high-end brand; third, focus on specialized and innovative chemical processes; fourth, amplify demonstration effects of advantageous niche projects; fifth, focus on incremental and key business market development; sixth, innovate and empower market development; seventh, strategize the development layout of hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol; eighth, promote management innovation to enhance production efficiency; ninth, strengthen party building and corporate culture construction.
